My family is so self obsorbed as well, they would not allow me to move home when I was homeless cause they said "it would cramp their way of living". I can totally feel your pain. I can understand how you don't trust anyone either. Also I can come across as bitter sometimes to people cause I feel that no one cares. Sure my only friend has taken me places but she works full time and the boarders in this home are all about #1 no one or nothing else. So I totally can feel your pain.
