I attended some intense courtroom stuff years ago and found our system of justice did much better with the public watching, up close and personal. Until we attend and see the real process, the NOT Perry Mason at-all-ed-ness, we can't comprehend the power wielded and how easily that power can be abused. Fortunately, regular citizens tend to take their jury duty very seriously, and paid attention, and justice (ultimately) was served in all the cases I observed.

Got my eyes opened, whooooeeee, nope, it sure isn't TV in there. Very gamey. Kinda scarey. Not for the faint of heart or poopied of pants.
