Too many girls online are trying to make ED's into the newest fashion trend, and when you tell them "It's not as glamorous as you think" they laugh and say they know what they are doing and this and that. Ugh, the girls (and some boys) that think that harming your body earns you cool points, they need a reality check. Hopefully just not the kind that lands you in the ER like most ED reality checks end.
Oh my gosh yes. I am an avid user of tumblr and it amazes me how many "proud anna" blogs there are. It's like being anorexic is like the hipster thing to do these days. I have never been proud of my eating disorder and would never encourage anyone else to do it. I know everyone is different within their disorder but this does just really upset me. The same goes for self injuring, I know a girl who cut herself and then actually took a photo of it and posted it on her public blog with the caption "how I spent my friday night".

I also agree that it is annoying when people say "just eat! how hard is it?" It's really, really hard.
