Well, yes, but not at the same time. Prozac was alright, my gp had prescribed it for depression, he had tried others with me, didn't do much for me, plus I would have benefitted in the long run by seeing a psychiatrist, cause that was how we arrived at a med I feel most comfortable with and function just fine.
My former pdoc tried me on Remeron, for me, was so sedating, and numbed my emotions, even the pdoc noticed and switched me two Celexa, which pooped out so now I am on a mood stabilizer that has anti depressant qualites though it isn't an AD.
Like the old saying goes, not all meds affect all the same, but once the theuraputic dose and type is established, things are greatly improved.
