At least you were able to eventually realize what caused your anger; even if it is PMS and not an actual event that happened in your life. Maybe get a huge poster sized calendar and put a big dot on the day you're support to get your period, and then in the week before, write "Danger zone!" or something silly

Someone here recommended something similar to me when I was being a brat to my boyfriend the week before I got my period.
Go have a piece of chocolate, take a bath, and curl up under blankets with a heating pad and a good book
