Try looking at it from their point-of-view for a minute. Let's say you work for an agency and you've got this client. You're worried about her, but she won't talk to you. You have no idea what could be going on with her. What are you going to do?

What I'm trying to say is that the more you try to avoid them, the harder they're going to work to try and talk to you. It's not that they're bad people or that they want to hurt you...it's completely the opposite.
