I take Cymbalta for MDD, it's been a huge help for me. My doctor just increased my dosage from 30mg to 60 at the beginning of the week. When I started on it, I had some side effects including nausea and what I suspect was hypomania (I'm not bipolar afaik) for a couple weeks before I crashed, though my doctor thinks it was just increased anxiety. Either way the side effects mostly disappeared after a few weeks, and it's definitely helping with my mood. I'm still getting pretty depressed some of the time, but I have a lot more good days now.

I can't really compare Cymbalta to any other anti-d, as I've never been on any other, but I can definitely say, Cymbalta's been a miracle drug for me.
