I took 50mg and ended up in the ER with a zombie-like panic attack with racing heart and atrial fibrillation. At the same time, the sedative effects had me nearly knocked out. That's the most bizarre thing I've ever felt. I had panic symptoms, but I was so sedated that I couldn't really feel any of them, or even care. My wife called the ambulance because I fell to the floor and could not move. They shot me up with ativan and gave me beta blockers in the ER. After a few hours, the AFib was gone and my heart had returned to normal. Then they had me come in a couple weeks later and do an EKG and then wear a heart monitor for 24 hours...everything was perfectly normal. Pretty obvious that seroquel is to blame. Pdoc told me to never take it again, and I never will. I haven't had any problems since.

I agree, watch out!
