Good grief. You tell them you DON'T want anything addictive, so they put you on EVERYTHING that's addictive.  Are they all NUTS or something???
Thank God you have sense enough to do what you're supposed to do.
I'm a recovering alcoholic/addict ~ I remember trying to get off of Xanax ~ dear Lord, that was AWFUL. Even tho I weaned off, I thought I had gnomes in my guts.
Unfortunately I'm a chronic painer and have to take opiates - but NOW I take them EXACTLY as prescribed and I DO NOT crave them. It's weird. I just need them for pain -- never have had a high. If I EVER feel funny on anything, I'm getting off immediately.
