I'm on Lamictin. I was told it would help with the depressive side of bipolar, but I haven't found it very helpful really. Wellbutrin helped me tremdously with the depression.
Yes, it is a mood stabiliser. It takes a good few weeks to titrate up to a therapeutic dose.
