I enjoyed turning 30. Maybe 40 wasn't so great, but that was only because I was bracing myself for people making fun of me about it, as other members of my family had been made fun of before me, and I'm always sensitive to that.

Turning 30 meant I was still young, but no longer SO young that people would automatically treat me like a child and/or assume I don't know anything. That's why my 30th was the happiest birthday of my life so far.

I'm glad you enjoyed your birthday.
