my T actually called my dr while I was there and talked to him about these things....and they agreed I should not take the meds for the next 2 days, then try it for 2 days again and see if the same thing happens....that takes me to Monday when I see T again. and if it's like this again, then she will make me another dr app't during our session....She said, I don't want you to suffer through this....
Sannah, my dad had an extreme reaction to a heart med that was the catalyst for his severe manic episode, an extreme reaction to the meds that they gave him in the hospital then to bring him down....Parkinson's-like syndrome, he walked backward, drooled, fell flat on his face, nasty stuff like that.....the theory they have now is that is very sensitive to meds, esp. newer class drugs, so they used older class meds after that.....but the drs also said the cognitive damage caused to his brain during all those severe overreactions to meds is permanent....perhaps I am my father's daughter in more ways than one.
