I hear you loud and clear! Over two years ago, I attempted suicide and because I get both SSI and SSDI, my doctor declared my incompetent to manage my own finances. My Mom was declared my payee. To try and change this would be a real pain because I have to get another doctor to say that I am competent to manage my own finances - UGH! Way too much work at this point!
