I cannot believe your doctor gave you Codeine!!! You might as well take Aspirin!! It works about as well. Since it doesn't look like your doc is going to give you anything stronger, I'd suggest asking your doc to refer you to pain management. There, they can give you many more options for pain relief.
Ask your doc for a referral -- you won't be disappointed, unless the clinic near you doesn't prescribed medications. Some of them are going that way unfortunately. Give it a try anyway - and see what happens. God bless. Hugs, lee
