Those particular side effects tend to happen more to people who are bipolar, in the way the brain chemistry is affected.....and the fact that it happened to me so fast too (when generally anti-d's are supposed to take a little longer to have a mood effect) is also a sign. But my med reactions aren't all that she's looking at either.....my emotional history, some difficult past experiences where I've done stupid things, the fact that I always got really, really up after my kids were born (no problem with baby blues here!), etc, etc. I did some soul searching and journaling a few days ago and really saw things in my past, particularly the last 10, maybe 15, years that seem a lot clearer to me......much as I'd like to not have this diagnosis, it fits me quite well, actually.
