I know it's hard to be alone. I HATE being alone. Right now, I have a great partner that completely understands my depression, and supports me through it. I couldn't ask for more.
But I've been in your shoes too. Here's a question for you...... What are you doing to meet people? Do you have a place you like to go hang out? Do you go to church? How about Bowling or the Movies. I live in a small town, and it's really hard to meet people. Truthfully, I met my partner online.
Check out the newspaper and see if there are any "get-togethers" in your area.
Just my 2 cents (althought I think it sounds more like a quarter)
