Beth,

By now, you must have already had your meeting with your "case worker"......hope it went better than you expected..........I am curious about what a "case manager' actually is? What place did you walk into to get a "case worker"? Sorry for asking so many questions. In the 12 years of dealing with anxiety/depression & filing a workman's comp case against the company I was working at that was the cause of my problem (which I ended up loosing), I never ran into anything that required a case manager.

During the past 12 years the only ones that have hospitalized me are the pdoc's & psychologists I have had.....& yes, it was when I talked to them (maybe similar to what happened to you). I know how hard it is not to say things when I am feeling bad (both physically & mentally...usually at the same time).....& just the wrong thing said seems to land me in a situation I don't want to be in too (lost count of the # of times I have been hospitalized).

Hopefully you will be able to keep in mind what you said last spring & concentrate on not letting those words come out in the future.

I am also curious....is there a way you can end that "case manager" relationship. Sounds like it is more stressful than it is worth......seems like they should be helping you rather than putting you into the stressful relationship you are in with them.

Thinking of you,
Debbie
