Hi lynn, I agree with Yoda that you should contact Child Protective Services. As far as I've dealt with them (once), the call was completely anonymous, and they were very helpful and prompt in dealing with the problem. I'm in the States, and I am not sure how the procedure changes from state to state here, or in Canada, where you are. Must they involve you or your daughter in any investigation?
If it's feasible, I'd give CPS a call, or send an email or letter ASAP. I read much of the original thread you'd posted about your troubles with this family (you have my sincere sympathy, believe me!), and I admire you for your concern and for taking steps to try and help the poor kids down the block.
