That particular shake gave the people around Palm Springs a pretty good jolt! It certainly is very possible that you subconsciously took note of it and then tried to make sense of it in the form of a dream...

Indeed, dreams can be very intriguing.

My wife, daughter and I lived aboard a 45 foot boat on Puget Sound for 10 years. We had a couple of cats living with us too. One night I dreamt that I was in the water and riding on the back of one of my cats. We effortlessly swam across the Narrows and back. We swam around for quite a while. My cat understood what I was thinking. We felt very connected somehow. I don't know, but I knew what my cat was thinking too. Apparently there was no size difference between us either. I don't know if my cat was bigger than normal or if I was smaller, but it didn't seem to matter. There was a wonderful feeling of detached abandon and peacefulness. We were on an exciting adventure!

Anyway...

When I woke up from the dream my cat was sitting on the rug next to my bed, licking himself dry...
He'd fallen overboard, crawled out of the water and was drying himself off next to my bed. He'd trailed water all the way through the boat from the swim step, up to the pilot house and then down the stairs into my stateroom.

While it was not the least bit uncommon for one or both of our cats to go for an unexpected and unscheduled swim, I had never dreamt about it until then.

While I was asleep, how could I have possibly known that my cat had taken the "big step" off the side of the boat? Beats me!

Yeah... dreams can be DARNED intriguing!
Thanks for this!
