I relate! I love to intellectualize.....and I realize I do it because it removes me from the actual depth and intensity of my emotions/feelings and helps me have control (and I like to be in control, too

). It's a coping mechanism, not always a bad one, but if it's keeping me from truly dealing with emotions I need to deal with, that's not good.....so I too am trying to learn how to just let the feelings be, to feel them, to let them show, and then be able to let them go....
