I've gone I to the ER when I knew I wasn't going to be safe at home. The counselors come and talk and try to figure out what the best thing is to do. For me, I don't generally get hallucinations (although I think I have had a few) but I end up endangering myself with my thoughts. I have been admitted each time although last time they wanted to send me home. I had to speak up for myself, though.
