your welcome. i was referring to what you've mentioned already about having trouble knowing if what is being said or done is appropriate or not and having a hard time responding in the moment. i know for myself i may know when someone says something that is off-base but i tend to freeze up and can't find my voice to respond. i think you are doing great though by posting here and getting suggestions on how to handle uncomfortable situations. you seem quite self-aware as well and respond to others here with tact and kindness. i think with time and practice you'll be able to navigate these situations just fine. with that i am going to bow out of this thread. break a leg, girl.
