Sorry to hear you are having another bad day. You might benefit from Burns, "Feeling Good Handbook". It helps you look at things in a brighter fashion, if you do he exercises and take it seriously. No, it won't cure a depression overnight, but it can help you shape your view of the world better, more rationally.

Yeah, I agree, 80 percent of the people may be morons. But they all probably have few good points too. And that leaves 20 percent who aren't--if you can relate to some of them for friendships, etc. your life can be enjoyable.

As for not liking yourself, I struggle with that at times too. I save some things I've done when I was feeling better to remind myself in some ways I am OK. I try to comfort myself with something I enjoy when I'm low. Tonight, I'm going to follow Elley's lead and get myself a piece of cake!
