Hi Bee,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my only brother and sibling suddenly on Jan. 24th, 1974. He was only 38, and was walking around fine one day, and gone the next. I'm still not over it.
When I lost my beloved big brother, I struggled to make it to the first month he was gone, and then kept counting from there.
Part of me wanted to forget, b/c the pain was so intense, but then I would feel anxious that I would forget something about him that I would want to remember later. It is very, very hard.
My thoughts and prayers and love are with you.
