on top of what everyone else said...
It will take a while to *reset* your sleeping to just the nightime, as opposed to when you are tired. Those days when you do go to work, keep that solid routine. Then transfer aspects of it to the other days you dont go out. Like: "every day, i eat breakfast...and do 5 other simple things"...So maybe you keep busy with those simple things as part of a daily consistent routine. So maybe after those things, reward yourself with a treat like sleep. My T is trying to encourage me to do something similar - as ACTIVITY PLANNING - so im not just so
blah and sore from sleeping a lot. T stresses that i be patient with change and not beat myself up EVEN MORE with how im physically feeling on top of everything else. Overall, know that you are NOT BAD for being so tired. Besides health issues in different ways, some people do just need more sleep than others. Ive learned with me that i need 10hr of sleep = less and im still too groggy (esp with meds) and i get sick really easily from lack of sleep. Beyond a certain point is dysfunctional if you are not doing anything at all. But it does seem like you are trying - by expressing frustration with this issue -and gradually working on doing more...Know that you are also not alone with this struggle
