I'm sorry about your snowbuddy, ss!!!! Awwww!!! It's great that you are spending so much time throughout the day being mindful. I think that is the ultimate goal. There is mindfulness in the form of formal meditation practice, and then there is mindfulness as a way of living. Sounds like you are well on the way to the latter
I have 3 dogs: Buckaroo, Ebony and Scamper. We are pretty much joined at the hip. We are together every moment of the day just about. They definitely pick up on my energy and I think they are enjoying the extra meditation sessions! I had a good session this morning. My breathing fell naturally into a slow, deep, even rhythm. Usually I have to consciously breathe in that way. Today it was happening on it's own. At least for a little while!
