Hi happycheeks,
I too sleep irregular hours, sometimes many more hours than I think I may need. As I've been sleeping in this manner more recently, I'm fairly sure it's due to my own depression and grieving. I'm not implying that's what you're facing, but I wonder how old you are, if that's okay to ask. You'd mentioned you're on break from school, so that is why I am asking also. Do you feel okay otherwise, i.e. are you in good health and reasonably active?
All the best to you.
