the constant worrying sounds like anxiety to me. The sleeping and eating stuff can be related to mood states; some people manifest depression in the form of over eating as well as under eating (extreme weight gain or loss), as well as insomnia and hypersomnia (not sleeping enough, and over sleeping.)

It takes time and will power to change habits such as bad diet. I used to eat a bag of potato chips, or popcorn daily, or pints of ice creme and drink lots and lots of pop/soda, coffee, etc. Now I am a vegetarian, and eat little of that stuff I used to. What changed? My outlook on life, to be honest. I learned there was more for me out there then sitting in my room getting fat and wasted.

As for Bipolar, I cant really tell. Do you have significant mood swings? Like one week you're hopelessly depressed, and the next you're happy and hyper? You said you work with old people who are bipolar... can you relate to their everyday struggles?

None of us can really diagnose you.

But regardless of all of that... WELCOME!!! PC is a pretty good place, and a lot of good folks are around who are seasoned vets.
