I agree with jadedmoonbeam. I also do quite a bit of interviewing in my position. The process of recruiting is not quick. If you don't hear back by whatever time they told you they would get back to you, nothing wrong with another follow up call or email asking about the status. There is also nothing wrong with saying " I really want this job/position". I remember one time I had two very strong candidates for an open position - and it was tough deciding between the two. One of them had told me he 'really wanted this job'. I hired him and he is working out fantastic!! Be patient and think positive!
