You need some support around you. Problems with life skills, for example, are much easier to tackle when you have a support group around you, like procrastinators anonymous (Haven't heard of them? Gee, they will be announcing forming the group and a first meeting later) No one trains for marathon alone.
Honestly, families rarely are up to that task, they usually feel they "had it" with your <whatever> and they get emotional, like your sister. Though she went overboard with it, way over.
I would encourage you to seek such support groups, maybe through your college, maybe through some other community groups. First, it helps to see that other people, seemingly soooo much better at life are having the same problems, and then you get to get motivation and support when you think like you are now, that you can't make it.
And when this blows over, as it will, they will calm down and be there for you too, and be really pleased to see you trying to help yourself, and support you too.
