Another good thing you can do to help you reduce a bad habit is to build up a good one... think of something you enjoy doing that's not damaging,
and do more and more of that as you do less and less of the booze.

That's good to hear that I'm taking the right direction for once

I will definitely take your advice and build a good coping mechanism. I used to be an artist but now that I've been abusing I'm never motivated...hopefully I'll be inspired to start up again.
