Thanks all of you for your hugs and kind thoughts. I don't think this is going to be a "time apart" thing - he seems to have made up his mind, and if he's not even willing to work on it, there's nothing I can do to keep him here.

It's strange...for awhile now I've had all these feelings that there was a big change coming in my life...well, this is a pretty big change. And I know I'll get through it, but it sure does hurt.
