To be fair, this is serious business. I'm hella picky about my coffee. So. Sorry you got a crappy bag.
Funny enough, this is one of my major coping flaws. If I'm down or stressed, I go out and make massive purchases. (In one case, I spent over $1,200 in one day)... So I'm often dealing with the regret of making a stupid purchase. But when its something semi-small (below $100), often times I'll try and think of someone in my life who would like it and send it as a gift. By brightening someone else's day, it brightens mine as well, and then in the long run I don't feel too stupid about buying it.
If you know someone who enjoys coffee, you could put the beans in a decorative treat bag and do that. But yeah. If you're seriously strapped for cash - a refund should be acceptable. You're probably not one of those people who returns things constantly and should be just fine in that instance.
