Good for you for being so open with a new psychciatrist. I'd find that incredibly hard. I think you were very brave.
As for the "V" question, I'm 42 and I've never been with anyone either - I can't admit it to my pdoc, but my T knows and my gp knows. My gp asks me if I've ever been heterosexually active each year at my physical and each year I want to die, when I say no, but she's just really matter of fact about it, which makes it better.
