Oh. Well, the very first time I used one was the first month after the injury, and it was for my jaw.. big white sticky pads.. lol I didn't care it took away so much of the pain! I looked like I was from out of space (or that's how ppl looked at me!)
I now have a fancier TENS that the PT sets the patterning according to the area of the body and what kind of response I need. It's an adjustable one (I think all of them have some adjustments allowed.. go into the control panel/plate and play!) I can't do the totally off and then burst on.. not at all. So I tend to have a pattern that stays on the same intensity, but changes whether it's a little beading effect or a buzzing or well, those aren't offical word descriptives. hehehe
