Kymaro, my 17 yr old son asked, "Am I crazy?" because he "[doesn't] trust people, even when it is ok to." I reassured him repeatedly that he isn't and if he is bipolar we'd have known by now. I think bright kids who know about our MI tend to think more about these things. I made an appointment for my son to see a therapist for an evaluation because he asked me to. I think it is important, in his case, to hear the opinion of another adult vs me as his parent.
