If you are not in a situation where you can't get the meds because of having no insurance, you can still get your meds. There are clinics and pharmaceutical companies that will provide them at no charge if you meet certain guidelines. You are right, there are many people who use the system to get what they don't need. They give state aid a bad reputation because of it. I get angry because I have to rely on gov't funds. I'm disabled so I live on SSI and a little food stamps When I do need the help, I can't get it. I spend my life jumping through hoops to get what I sincerely need. But drug testing everyone who needs gov't funds is not a solution. It doesn't prove anything.
