I should have asked my pdoc more specifics. I know its a mood stabilizer, or rather a anti-convulsant used as a mood stabilizer so its supposed to make me less depressed and less manic. But specifically what symptoms of both are to be relieved?

I want the paranoia to stop, the racing thoughts, delusions that I get on both sides of depression and mania. Will it really help with the more psychotic features rather than mood features?
