Don't let your mother or anyone else make you feel bad. I know it's hard, but I write alot and that gets my bad emotions out.
Families don't understand what someone is going through unless they went through it themselves or reacted the same way.
I suggest getting a therapist, if your hurting yourself then they can give you all kinds of coping mechanisms that are healthy.
