different emotional responses can occur in response to the same belief
'they are out to get me'
one person might feel all excited BRING IT ON!!!
another person might feel afraid
another person might feel angry...
(apparantly it depends on other beliefs... but where does it end? do we need to factor in the persons entire belief network in order to deduce their emotional state from their beliefs?????)
and this disregards the affective primacy thesis (ie that emotions can occur before beliefs)
