don't worry about the dreams. I'm also a Christian, and I also go to prayer meetings, and various other church functions (bible readings, Sunday school clubs for the kids, etc) so I won't invalidate your experience by describing it as religious mumbo jumbo.

Having said which a lot of mental distress does manifest itself in religious imagery. For the most part, if demons are trying to decieve and torment people, and mislead them from the truth, they're not going to do it in an obvious way that will draw attention to them. They would be subtle... what would be the point of them leering at you, if it was not building up the body of Christ?
And again, I reiterate, I've had personal experience of the "demonic" and the dreadful dark beneath the skin of the earth, so I will listen.

Good news is, you don't have to fear that. Someone already went down and silenced Hell for you.
