Were you premature and how early were you, Hun?
Guess I'm beginning to realize the medical wonders there are today. His little breathing machine doesn't take up a whole room and you don't hear it going "whoosh, whoosh," ya know. The tubes he's got going into him are the thickness of a coarse hair, not rubber hoses anymore. But it's extremely hard to forget horrors I've seen. I don't even stop myself from praying that he won't come out of this with Cerebral Palsey. Just his tentative stay of 10 weeks in the hospital is going to be difficult enough for us and for his parents. My son could deal with a high needs child... if he didn't have to take care of his wife from head to foot whether she's really sick or not.
Ok, enough of that! That's a whole 'nutter story.
Yeah, my kids know what causes kids. It's Christina that "just watches" and isn't responsible for what may happen. She doesn't accept responsibility for ANYTHING. It's all up to John, so he's getting a vasectomy before she goes home from the hospital. She had a Caeserian, but wouldn't dream of getting her tubes tied while she was on the table. No, that responsibility falls on John's shoulders like everything else. ARGH!! SHUT MY MOUTH!!
But now that I think about it, nine grandkids amongst four kids isn't all that bad!
