I agree with Perna.A good way to lost weight is also watching what you drink.
Soda's, coffe and similar things should be avoided.And try drinking as much water as possible in a day.Most of the hunger you feel, is actualy nothing other then thirst.The more you drink, the less you will feel the need to eat.
Of course, I'm not saying you should avoid daily meals.That's too extreme, and not healthy.I'm just saying, carrying a water bottle around (even if you're in your home), is a good idea.When ever you get a craving for eating or something sweet, drink a little.

I gave the same advise to my mum, she lost eight kilograms in a month.She doesn't even excersize at all (not saying thats healthy, but she had a few knee surgerys, so she can't really.)
