Another thought I had on favorite colors is that it depends on what the color is for. In clothes, I like to wear a lot of black. I don't like black for the colors in my house though (the people we bought this house from were color blind and had everything in black and white - very depressing to me). I like blue better for the living room. Green is a very calming color too, and in some rooms I altered all the black by adding green to it, and anything with sunflowers (bathroom, kitchen). In the flower garden, II like all colors of flowers, but particularly reds and purples. Even though sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers, I don't like orange all that much. But I do like gold. And a touch of yellow can really brighten things. White is good a lot of the time too. It represents purity, and white light is a perfect mix of all of the colors (white solids reflect all colors and absorb none, while black surfaces absorb all the colors and reflect none - black is actually no color).
