Can you try this?Keep a journal with a minimum 60 second write per day.List your over all emotion.Since you obviously have a computer, you can google an emotions list if you find it difficult to identify your emotions. If you can print it and keep it in the journal, that'd be good. One of the best ways to break a "compulsion" is to refrain from giving in.Perhaps have a friend assist you with this...extending the length of refrain gradually.I dunno how deeply disturbed you are with the house cleanliness. But perhaps take note of the degree to which you think of it,and gradually relax your habits of cleaning small bits at a time?Medication and vitamin supplements can help.I've no idea the extent to which you are impacted.Hope this helps a bit."Merck manual" *A medical book... is compact and sold in most major book stores(It contains info on just about anything),even in wal-mart or drug stores....& if you google 'wikipedia'...there is a load of info there...and then of course you could get an appt. to consult with a trained doctor for a diagnosis.I do hope this helps a bit.~W~
