My husband has been prescribed Xanax for anxiety issues. He was fine before he was prescribed this and now i feel it's effecting his mental status. when we argue over this and that, mainly money, jobs, friends and such, i'm noticing that he doesn't seem to hear or process what i'm saying and things get out of control. he repeats everything he has already said and i'm patient and listen for the fifth time but this only seems to happen if he's taken the med. he seems to take it when predicting an uncomfortable circumstance. without the med we can work it out and listen to each other and hug. with it we usually end up sleeping in different rooms. Is this a side effect of the med or just marrige?.
