I can't find my paper =( grrrrr

I'll have to come up with how it is Right now instead I guess...

a ball that is covered in shiny spikes and hooks that beat against me, a blood red haze surrounds it so no one else can usually see it. It goes 1/4 inch out of my skin to cover me and the ball, which is inside. It hides my pain most of the time, and yet is invisible to others except in moments of deepest despair.

That is very different than the original I wrote, though I think the o.g. covered everything, maybe that's why.
