On placement I hear myself doing and saying things and wonder where that came from, and realise it's my T's phrase or strategy. Being able to close sessions in a way that feels containing and like I'm not cutting people short; being curious about others' experiences and making them curious too; being able to validate wherever they are starting from. All things that T has skillfully done with me and I have taken on without fully realising.
