I'm another person with OCD here. I have pretty severe OCD, contamination fears, mostly. I wash my hands a lot, as well as other body parts, should they come in contact with something "dirty." I'm not so much afraid of contracting a disease (although it does go through my head once in a while), but I do have specific health worries. I worry about my heart, and the fact that I'm obese. I HATE being sick in general, and my OCD gets worse when I am. I try to prevent colds and flu as much as possible. My boyfriend currently has a cold, although he's getting over it. I drink a lot of orange juice when he's ill, and when I think I'm getting a cold. If I get a cold, I usually lose my appetite during the worst of it, so I'll go most of the day without eating, but I find that eating soup (chicken or otherwise, although I prefer chicken soup when I have a cold) after going hungry all day does increase my strength quite a bit. And I only started using Airborne with my last cold, which was short, so I don't know if it works as well as I've heard, or if my last cold being short was just coincidence. Nevertheless, I have Airborne ready to take at the first sign of a cold.

While my boyfriend's sick, I also use disinfectant wipes to wipe things we commonly touch, like the computer keyboard, faucets, and door handles.
