no motion sickness isn't something you can cause. sometimes taking new medications can do it but within a couple weeks it stabilizes.
Years ago I used to be able to go in very high places and look down and have no prblem at all and now just getting on a chair to reach sends me shaking, heart thumping and so on.
Motion sickness is the same way theres no age requirement, activity requirement. I have a friend who just sitting in a parked car in her driveway gave her motion sickness. Alot of people can't read in a moving vehicle others like me have to read while riding in a vehicle or they get sick. I don't like taking meds either. So I experiemented with all kinds of things until I found some things I could do. Like making sure I bring a drink with me, a book, music, whatever I can that will help trick my body into ignoring the motion of the vehicle moving. I don't watch moving trains right in front of me but instead I count the cars at a point down the tracks where it seems like they are moving slower. they aren't really moving slower but its an optical allusion because of the distance from me to that point. I also don't ride on an empty stomach. my body needing nutrients does cause me light headedness. so I take care of that before getting on the bus.
It may take time but with experimenting and trial and error you will find what works for you in the meantime keep the bonnie handy. take care.
